Community service is a focus of the Moraga Valley Kiwanis Club.  The Club organizes the Moraga Citizen of the Year banquet each year with the Contra Costa Sun, has a very visible presence in many community activities, is involved in improvements to local parks, and assists with beautification to several neighborhood sites.  A partial list of service projects includes:
•    Plan & coordinate children’s visits to Camp Timberwolf
•    Staff recovery areas at Saint Mary’s College blood drives
•    Participate in community projects such as Moraga Days, the Pear Festival, and daffodil planting
•    Assist with erecting, maintaining, and removing Moraga Education Foundation signs
•    Organize Club fund raising projects for the Fourth of July
•    Collect gifts for Toys for Tots
