Service Projects
Community service is a focus of the Moraga Valley Kiwanis Club. The Club organizes the Moraga Citizen of the Year banquet each year with the Contra Costa Sun, has a very visible presence in many community activities, is involved in improvements to local parks, and assists with beautification to several neighborhood sites. A partial list of service projects includes:- Plan & coordinate children's visits to Camp Timberwolf
- Staff recovery areas at Saint Mary's College blood drives
- Participate in community projects such as Moraga Days, the Pear Festival, and daffodil planting
- Assist with erecting, maintaining, and removing Moraga Education Foundation signs
- Organize Club fund raising projects for the Fourth of July
- Collect gifts for Toys for Tots
